Technically yes — SCORM content is just HTML, so a package can bundle several languages behind a language picker. In practice almost nobody does it: the LMS still treats the package as one course with one completion status and one score, file size multiplies, and reporting can't tell languages apart. The standard approach, and what this tool produces, is one package per language that you assign to each audience in your LMS.
The package itself never leaves your browser: it is unzipped, rewritten, and rezipped locally. Only the extracted text segments are sent to the translation service — no files, media, or learner data.
Visible text in the package's HTML pages (including image alt text and button labels), the course and module titles in imsmanifest.xml, and the course data inside Articulate Rise exports. Scoring logic, sequencing, identifiers, media files, fonts, and code are left byte-for-byte untouched, so the package behaves in your LMS exactly like the original.
Yes. Rise stores an entire course inside a single JavaScript data file rather than in HTML pages, so most translation tools miss it completely. This one reads that file directly: headings, paragraphs, quiz choices, flashcards, scenario dialogue, and the player's own navigation labels all get translated, while your images, videos, fonts, characters, and course structure are left byte-for-byte untouched.
Not yet. Storyline stores its text in a different JavaScript format that this tool doesn't read, so rather than hand you back an unchanged package it tells you plainly that it can't help. For Storyline, translate inside the authoring tool and re-export per language. Rise exports and HTML-based courses — including Colossyan's SCORM exports and most classic authoring tools — work today.
No — this tool translates text only. Narration, subtitles baked into video, and on-screen text inside images stay in the original language. If your course is video-based, Colossyan can translate the whole video, voice-over included, into 120+ languages.
