That is worth doing for teams who have this problem in front of them right now. If your experts are down the hall and you have people to spare, you probably do not need us yet.

Questions we get asked
The recording and transcript stay in your Colossyan workspace, visible only to the people you grant access to. Emil records only after the expert agrees at the start, and they can stop at any point. Nothing trains public models or reaches other customers, and you can delete any recording, transcript, or pack whenever you want. See our security practices.
No. The expert needs no Colossyan account, no licence, and nothing to install. They open the link you send, in a browser, and talk. That is the entire ask on their side, which is what makes it realistic to reach experts who would never log in to another tool.
You approve everything Emil writes, and the expert can approve their part too. The knowledge pack is a draft, not a finished document. Emil marks where the expert was unsure and where two experts disagreed, so you know exactly what to check, and nothing becomes a video or course until you sign off.
The knowledge pack is a plain document you can fully edit, not a black box. You can rewrite any part, cut or add sections, and keep it as your reference even if you never build a course from it. When a process changes, update the pack directly or run a short follow-up interview on that part.
The expert opens a link and talks for about 25 minutes, whenever suits them. There is no camera, no preparation, and no slides. They can type instead of speaking, and pause and return later, so the interview fits between shifts or around a trip. Most experts are done in one sitting.
Emil reads whatever you already have before the call: procedure documents, an old deck, scattered notes. Because Emil starts from your material, it does not spend the expert's time on what is already written down, and asks about the gaps instead. When there is nothing to start from, Emil begins from the work itself.
No. Knowledge Capture is open to teams whether or not they already use Colossyan. Existing customers reach a finished video or course faster because their workspace is set up, but we take beta teams either way. Tell us where you are today in your request.
